South Korean developer Smilegate launches a closed Beta Test for the new Crossfire Zero game, based on CF‘s famous online IP FPS. This new version of the popular online shooter has a new battle royale mode and this version will only be available to Southeast Asian markets (Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam).
When logging into the game, you are greeted with a game mode selection screen. FPS Classic CrossFire or BRX Battle Royale Extreme.
When queuing for classic game modes, there is about 2 minutes of queuing time before finding the match but that is understandable since this is the first release date and most players are playing in the mode. new BRX game.
Familiar Battle Royale mode
Besides the fact, this whole game mode is inspired by Apex Legends, playing this new game mode is what you would expect from battle royale game mode.
My first thought was that when playing this new game mode this game is almost like Apex Legends but a lite version.
From the team screen before you enter the match, to the character selection screen and even the map.
Gunplay gives a CrossFire feel when shot. When hitting enemies with a very satisfying sound, it is very useful in sensing your shots during the gun battle.
My number one problem is the sound in the game, I am having difficulty distinguishing the distance between the attacks of enemies. Some shots sounded like they were at an empty distance when in fact it was 150 meters away from me and there was a wall separating me and my enemies from fighting another squad.
Another way is when using different perspectives in the game. Iron vision has the fastest Aim Down Vision (ADS) time with 2x and 4x viewfinder, while both Red Dot Sight and Hologpson have slower transfer time.
The lack of communication between the players in the squad makes life complicated for a duo, one of the situations when we need to be revived while the last teammate is not a member of the team only was looting in another building while my partner and I were shot down. The ping system is not sufficient to create such communication between players
Evaluation of CFZ Raid version
Judging from the game trailer, Crossfire Zero will play very similar to another BR game, Apex Legends. It will have a first-person perspective, teams can have up to 3 players and it will have a list of characters (possibly Crossfire character skins) that will have different unique skills.
There will also be some science fiction elements in the game as there seem to be some future weapons and equipment that can be accessed or used. The map looks very large and will have different biomes, once again, the aesthetic looks very similar to the map of Apex Legends. You can watch the trailer below and make your own conclusions about the game.
